Bristol Southmead Experience 2nd October 2007.

Today at 3pm at Bristol Southmead, just around the corner from the test centre, 4 youths stole one of our CBF500 Hondas while we took a ten minute break in the cafe.

They wheeled it into Trowbridge Avenue, with plenty of witnesses that  denied seeing anything.

We called the police who responded fantastically with and unmarked car, 3 patrol cars, 2 community officers and the helicopter.

Within ten minutes the helecopter had found the bike in a back garden of an empty house.

It was unmarked, so we were able to ride it back and complete our training. 

We would like to thank the local police force for doing a fantastic job in locating the bike and supporting us.

While we feel sorry for law abiding people that live in the area we are equally disappointed at the complete apathy that the local people demonstrated towards this crime committed in broad daylight.

In future we will not be bringing customers and trade to Southmead, it was an experience that we are keen never to have again.
